This project adds an extension to a quaint bungalow fronting Clementi Forest.

The intent is to create a long horizon punctuated with courtyards such that nature and sky could be framed and juxtaposed with the old house and the forest in the distance.

In this way, different spots of nature around the house are brought to attention from morning to night.

The deep verandah spaces offer varied opportunities for different activities throughout the day, and can be re-programmed as the house matures with the family.
